The last time I photographed miss Joslyn she was just an itty bitty newborn! I loved taking her first birthday portraits this past month and being able to capture her sweet and spunky personality.
She is just too cute for words :)

This little cutie pie celebrated his FIRST birthday earlier this week :)
He was so curious throughout his session he just wanted to play! And how cute is his puppy cake? His wonderful mommy did such an amazing job on it!

I first met this handsome little guy when he was just a few weeks old for his newborn pictures and I cannot believe he will be turning one in just a few short months!
Baby Abrum is quite the character now :) he was a mixture of serious, and happy, and goofy and smiley all throughout his session. And check out that hair! Isn't he just the cutest?!

I cannot get over that adorable little smile of his, and boy oh boy did he make us work for it! There was laughter, tears, smiles, and frowns throughout his session but we managed to get some great shots for his second birthday portraits.

Oh sweet baby Paxton :)
He definitely kept everyone busy by chasing him around for his session! He was just too curious with the set up and he just wanted to play (can you blame him??) and of course when it came time for the cake.... that poor cake didn't stand a chance! Paxton's older brothers were hoping to have some extra cake to take home for themselves but as you can see there was nothing left!
We celebrated his birthday portraits with a fun and exciting "ONEderland" theme that his super creative mommy chose! And how adorable is the cake that she made for him? By the looks of it, Paxton sure did enjoy it :) I am so happy I was able to capture these for Paxton and his wonderful family, thank you so much for letting me a part of it all!

I cannot believe it has been about a year since I first met this little cutie pie. One of the perks of my "job" is watching all these precious little ones and being able to capture these moments along the way!

I love seeing the relationship between a father and his daughter, it truly is a special bond.
One that is forever cherished.
Daniel and Ava are like two peas in a pod :)
They are silly, and playful, and most of all just unbelievably sweet.
This session was perfect. I adored EVERY. SINGLE. shot taken.. The father-daughter relationship shared between these two is so precious and loving. And as always, I had THE hardest time trying to decide on which ones to share with you.

Julian and Leanna will be welcoming their second baby boy in just a few more weeks, and I couldn't be more excited for them. This lovely, soon to be family of four, ventured with me in one of my favorite bosque locations for their maternity session and everything about it was stunning. I first met Autumn about 6 months ago for her Easter/Spring mini portrait session and I cannot believe how much she has changed since then! And isn't her Halloween costume just precious? Her wonderful mommy made it and I love how it turned out! She was by far the cutest little Dorothy that I have ever seen :)

It was my pleasure to meet up with the beautiful Giles family to capture this little guys Fall portraits, and as you can see, baby Cole had a BLAST! He had me chasing him and rolling around in the leaves, I LOVED it! I think we both got a workout that day :)

It's that time of year again! Time to start thinking about Senior portraits :)
I love being able to meet all the wonderful 2016 Seniors and hear about their goals for their future. It's so exciting to see such bright and creative individuals! To kick things off, here are some of my favorites from Cassiee's Senior session :)

What a firecracker this little beauty was! I am just in love with everything about this session (yes, yes, I know I say that about ALL my sessions but it's true and I mean it each and every time! I seriously have the best clients EVER). From posing with her hands on her hips to giving us "kissy faces", Aria is quite the character in front of the camera! My favorite time of the year has finally come... FALL! I love everything about it... the cool, crisp morning air, caramel apple cider, the beautiful scenery, Holiday traditions with my main little guy... my list can seriously go on and on!
And although I would LOVE to hold on to the lovely summer weather, the colors all throughout New Mexico have already started to change! So... this means it is time to start offering our Fall Portrait Sessions! Last year these were such a hit and I met so many wonderful families (I seriously have THE BEST clients!) :) So of course I was more than excited to get these started!
This year, I wanted to have a fun and unique Fall themed set up for our children's mini portrait sessions, something that I knew would stand out and also show more of my creativity! Of course, my son (who will be turning THREE in December! Where has the time gone??) was my inspiration. He loves being outside and playing in the dirt and throwing leaves all over the place (typical boy!). And that's what I love about being a photographer, I can capture these moments of him just being a kid...playing, making messes, just simply enjoying life.
And I have to admit, I am pretty happy with the way my Fall set up turned out and cannot wait to capture all the cuties again this year! Now these sessions book quickly, so many families want portraits with the beautiful Fall scenery, so be sure to reserve your date soon! I first met Autumn when she was around 6 months old and I LOVE seeing how much her personality has changed! Her wonderful mommy chose a beautiful mint and gold vintage theme and I am in love with how this set up came out.
Little miss Autumn was NOT too fond of her birthday portraits, (she would not give me a smile no matter how many silly faces or goofy noises I made :) ) but once it came down to the cake, there was no stopping her! I was actually surprised with how messy she got. I did not expect her to cover her face with cake :) but I can't complain, I think her mommy, daddy and I laughed and smiled at her the WHOLE time as we watched her cover herself in cake. It's moments like these that I LOVE capturing for families :)
I first met Travis and Jackie about a year ago and I instantly fell in love. They have to be one of the sweetest couples ever and right from the start I could already see the love they shared for one another.
July 11, 2015 marked the official start of their journey as husband and wife... the start of their forever.
Their wedding day was filled with love, laughter, and many, many tears of joy. They chose the beautiful scenery up in Hyde Park and it was absolutely breathtaking.
