This handsome little guy came to visit me at the studio on his first birthday this past weekend! He wasn't too interested in tasting the cake but he sure did love taking it a part and putting it back together :) Happy first birthday Julian, hope you had a wonderful day!
I had the best time with Ana's paint smash session! And I truly mean THE. BEST. TIME. :) I absolutely love being creative and what better way to celebrate your second birthday than with a little bit of paint and a blank canvas!
So what exactly is a paint smash session? Well, it's similar to the cake smash that usually takes place at your babies first birthday session, however, we replace the cake with paint :)
At first, little miss Ana took her painting very seriously. She stayed focused and seemed determined to NOT get messy. But after awhile.... she decided how much fun it would be to just roll around in it all!

The Burris family is one of the cutest families ever! I mean come on... how adorable are they? Their session was filled with smiles, laughter, and nothing but love between this beautiful family of four :)
James and Channare will be saying "I do" next year and I cannot wait for their beautiful wedding! I had the best time capturing this sweet couple for their engagement session that I seriously loved every single shot!

This past month, I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Saavedra who will be getting married this December and I have to admit it... I am a sucker for love and romance :) I absolutely LOVED capturing Chris & Jessica's engagement session and to say they were fun to work with, would be an understatement. Their entire session was filled with love and laughter.... and it was perfect! The Bosque location they chose has always been one of my favorites, and although we were eaten alive by mosquitos (YUCK!) this spot couldn't have been more beautiful. Congratulations to Chris & Jessica on your engagement and I cannot wait for your beautiful December wedding!
This little beauty was nothing but smiles throughout her whole session! And once it came time for the cake that is all she could focus on :) I loved capturing these for her wonderful family! Happy birthday Isabella!
I first photographed this handsome little guy when he was just a few months old, and now he will be turning ONE soon! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by! I love watching all these little babies grow up :)
Little miss Braylee is turning ONE! She wasn't too fond of the cake smash (I think because of the heat :/) but how cute is she in her little tutu that her mommy made?! And of course we had to sneak in some family portraits for the Garcia-Washburn family too, they are such a sweet and loving family! I loved seeing how protective Braylee's two older brothers were of her throughout their session! Happy Birthday miss Braylee!
This little cutie pie came to visit me at just 24 days new. He was so calm and happy throughout his entire session that I was able to capture his adorable little smile :) I absolutely love photographing these moments for families!
Little miss Ariea will be turning one in a few short weeks so we celebrated with some birthday portraits and of course cake! :) Ariea was nothing but smiles in front of the camera and when it came down for cake she wanted it all to herself! She is such a cutie!
This lovely couple will be welcoming their baby girl in just a few short months! I loved capturing these for Dominic and Kayla, and I must say, Kayla looks absolutely stunning! Their baby girl already has so much love :) I am so happy for the two of them and for their growing family.
I first met Dominique about a year ago, when she contact me for updated family portraits. At the time little miss Avyn was only 6 months old, and here she is now at a year and a half! I loved being able to capture these moments and see how much Avyn has grown.
This beautiful family had me laughing our ENTIRE session! They were so much fun to work with, I am so happy I was able to capture these moments for them.
Deciding what to wear to your portrait session can be a bit stressful. In my opinion, what you wear for your portraits is just as important as all the other details such as location, lighting and posing. "What colors do you recommend?" and "What should we wear?" are two of the most common questions asked upon booking. To help make planning for your session just a little easier for you, I've decided to put together a few of my favorite color palettes to help give you a starting point on what to wear :) (Please keep in mind these are just a few examples to help give you an idea. You are not limited to what I have posted here.)

I am happy to announce that we have officially hit our ONE year mark! I am truly blessed to have been able to follow my dreams and be able to capture such beauty throughout the past year. I have met such wonderful families and without you guys I would not have made it this far. As a thank you to those who have helped me along the way, I thought we could take advantage of New Mexico's beautiful summer weather and celebrate with some discounted sessions!
